The « Bordeaux River Cruise » company is specialized in river-oriented wine-tasting tourism. Cruise through the Gironde archipelago: farmland and nature reserves shaped by the river and human activity. The first stop is at a traditional winegrowing estate on the Ile Margaux. An overview of Vauban's impressive defensive works is followed by a "finger-food" lunch on Ile Patiras. Bask in the relaxing atmosphere and enjoy the view from the top of the lighthouse.
All aboard for a cruise featuring the vineyards and cultural heritage on the right bank of the Gironde Estuary. A tasting highlighting food-wine matches is followed by an underground tour of the Vauban fortress in Blaye. Then travel by coach along the picturesque riverbank to Bourg, a one-of-a-kind village overlooking the Dordogne River. On the way back you will stop to visit a winegrowing estate.

After a visit to a wine estate, board your boat at Fort-Médoc, a Vauban fortress listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, to return to Bordeaux.
