Wine cruise Blaye-Bourg

Pass Cité du Vin and boat trip along the right bank of the estuary

After an immersion in the Cité du Vin, embark on a guided cruise to discover the wines and heritage of Haute-Gironde. Lunch at the Côtes de Bourg wine bar with a winegrower and then join Blaye and its UNESCO citadel by boat to discover the Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux appellation. To extend your tasting, a bottle is offered.

OPTION : 9h30 : Visit of the Cité du vin : you access to the centre’s permanent exhibition. This interactive, audio-guided tour culminates at a height of 35 metres, for a spectacular 360° view on Bordeaux and its river. You’ll also enjoy the opportunity to taste an international wine. 

With or Without 'Pass Cité du vin':

  • 12:00 : Embark aboard the speedboat SILNET at the PONTON DE LA CITE DU VIN. Commented navigation on the river, by a tour guide (fr/eng). Aperitif (appetizers & 2 glasses of wine) on board around the wines of the Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux appellation.
  • 1:00 pm : Stopover at Bourg sur Gironde. Lunch at the new côtes de Bourg wine bar with a winegrower of the appellation
  • 4:00 pm : Continuation of the cruise on the estuary, stroll along the corniche route. Stopover in Blaye, guided tour of the citadel classified UNESCO World Heritage, and of the Clos de l’Echauguette, vineyard parcel. Leave with a free bottle.
  • Navigating back to Bordeaux.
  • 6:30 pm : Disembarking passengers at the PONTON OF THE CITE DU VIN

This cruise include a significant walking. It is not advisable for reduce mobility people.
